Chirag United have entered the final of the 123rd Durand Cup Football tournament. In the second semi-final played at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi yesterday, they defeated East Bengal by a solitary goal. The all-important goal was scored by Rafique in the 87th minutes of the match. Chirag United will now meet JCT Phagwara in the final on Sunday. JCT had upset defending champions Churchill Brothers in the first semi-final on Wednesday by recording a one-nil victory.
