Chinese President Xi Jinping to arrive in India today on 3-day visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping will arrive in Ahmedabad today on a three-day visit to India. In a special gesture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive Mr. Jinping at the airport.

The two-leaders will hold talks and some agreements are likely to be signed. Thereafter, the visiting dignitary will visit Sabarmati Ashram. Xi Jinping will also walk along the Sabarmati river front witnessing folk art forms and dances.

Mr. Modi will host a private dinner to the Chinese President, after which Mr. Jinping will leave for New Delhi.
