The Chinese government has refused to respond to accusation that its prime minister Wen Jiabao took a 10,000 dollar bribe. A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman refused to comment on the cable's allegations or anything relating to China contained in the WikiLeaks documents. The allegation is made among the US diplomatic cables leaked to the WikiLeaks website. The source reports there is a strong possibility that unnamed persons associated with a Chinese mining company paid the Chinese premier 10,000 dollars to help secure rights to copper deposits in North Korea.
