A Chinese delegation today arrived in New Delhi on a five day visit to explore opportunities to take forward the Defence ties between the two countries. According to sources, the delegation led by the Deputy Chief of the Peoples Liberation Army, General Gazenfeng will hold talks with the Defence Minister, Mr. A.K. Antony and Defence Secretary, Mr. Pradeep Kumar for strengthening confidence building measures . The visit comes in the backdrop of incidents of Chinese incursions along the LoC. Our correspondent says that the Chinese army had also recently objected to the construction of road in the Ladakh region. The delegation will also call on the chiefs of army, navy and air force during their stay in India.
