Chinese Defence Minister General Liang Guanglie today visited Mahatma Gandhi's memorial 'Mani Bhawan in Mumbai. Speaking to mediapersons after the Chinese defence minister’s visit Mani Bhawan executive secretary Ghanshyam Ajgaonkar said that the Minister was keen to know about Gandhiji and his roots. He said that Gen Liange seemed to very interested in Gandhi's early life and asked questions with the help of an interpreter. He said Liang was at Mani Bhavan for half-hour. Gen Liang today commenced a five-day visit to India.
