The visiting Chinese Communist Party Politburo member Zhou Yong Kang on Monday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi. Zhou is in the Capital on the invitation of the Congress party. Officials described the meeting as warm and cordial. Talking to the visiting dignitary, Dr. Singh said, when India and China shake hands, the world notices. The Prime Minister said this quoting his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao whom he met in Hanoi in Vietnam recently. Dr. Singh had said that there was enough space in the world for both the countries to grow. The Chinese premier is expected to visit India on December 16.
