<span style="color: #222222;">China's Hebei province, which entered a wartime mode yesterday, accounted for 20 of the 23 new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in mainland China on 5th January, more than the total of 19 confirmed cases in the province in the three previous days.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The provincial health commission said that Hebei also accounted for 43 of 64 new asymptomatic cases which China does not count as confirmed COVID-19 cases.
