China says it will launch a communications satellite for Pakistan at an appropriate time in the coming days. A spokesman for the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwestern Sichuan Province said the satellite, the PAKSAT-1R, will be carried by a Long March-3B carrier rocket. He said both the satellite and rocket are currently in good condition.
