China has announced that it will establish a gallery in Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata in remembrance of the Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore who had visited Beijing in 1924.<br/><br/>Foreign Secretary Ms. Nirupama Rao told reporters in Beijing that the Chinese President Hu Jinao made the announcement during the delegation level talks with the President Mrs. Pratibha Devising Patil.<br/><br/>Foreign Secretary has said, Tagore had travelled Beijing in 1924 and the Chinese Government wants to have a gallery to remember the poet’s days in China.
