China strand 60 containers of Nepalese businessmen

More than 60 fully-loaded containers of Nepalese businessmen have been stranded on the Chinese side of Sino-Nepal border as local traders there, with alleged support of Tibetan officials, have blocked their entry into Nepal due to a scuffle over recovery of robbed money.<br/><br/>The Chinese businessmen had been blocking the containers since Thursday, saying 3 lakh US dollars robbed from traders belonging to the country at Swoyambhu on October 17 were not yet recovered.<br/><br/>Quoting Nepaliese Traders ,PTI reports that the Tibetan authorities are also involved in barring the containers from entering Nepal. The containers were obstructed, as the Chinese suspect that the Nepali traders were involved in the robbery.<br/><br/>Nepali entrepreneurs have accused the Chinese Department of Foreign Affairs of working against diplomatic protocol by not taking any initiative to clear the containers, the Himalayan Times reported.<br/><br/>
