Preparedness for ninth BRICS summit at Xiamen in China is in final leg. Xiamen BRICS summit is scheduled from tomorrow to September 5 at a coastal and commercial town in China. Security has been tightened at and around the summit venue. It is second time when BRICS summit is being held at China.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent covering the summit and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the summit reports that hoardings are placed at major public places in the town with the slogans of BRICS summit Openness, Inclusiveness and Win Win Cooperation and Mutual beneficial Cooperation for Common Development. Flexes welcoming the delegates have been put in large numbers across the town. Four areas have been identified for progress among member countries during the summit. <br/><br/>They are deepen BRICS cooperation for common progress, enhance global governance to jointly meet challenges, carry out people to people exchange and make institutional improvements and build broader partnership. Some bilateral summits are also expected with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the summit Host country China has invited five guest countries for the summit under its BRICS plus approach. They are Egypt, Kenya, Tajikistan, Mexico and Thailand.<br/>'<br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be accorded warm welcome at Xiamen. Indian community living at this coastal town and even neighboring towns in China has planned to honour the PM during his stay at BRICS summit.
