China: Operation to rescue 33 trapped miners to start tomorrow

In Chile, the 33 miners trapped for 64 days may see the light of the day with the final operation to rescue them to start tomorrow. The miners are trapped in the San Jose mine in northern Chile since August 5. Chilean Mining Minister Laurence Golborne said that under “Plan B” of the rescue effort, the drilling machine will be able to open a passage over 700 meters deep to fetch the miners. The miners have been kept alive by pumping in Oxigen and food through pipes.
