China opened its border with Pakistan this morning for transportation of essential commodities from Chinese side for daily use for the people of Upper Hunza. Uper Hunza has been cut off from the most of Pakistan for the last nineteen days due to heavy land sliding on Karrakarum High Way. <br/><br/>Officials said the border was re-opened on a special request of Pak authorities to avoid shortage of daily use items for the people in Upper Hunza. Meanwhile, three helicopters of National Disaster Management are engaged in transporting of food, LPG and diesel to the affected people.
