India's Sania Mirza and her Spanish partner Nuria Llagostera Vives have waltzed into the Women's Doubles semi-finals of the China Open Tennis tournament in Beijing. The Indo-Spanish pair defeated the German-Czech duo of Julia Goerges and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova, 4-6, 6-4, 16-14, in the quarterfinals yesterday. In the semi-finals today, Sania and Nuria will take on the Chinese-Slovenian combination of Jie Zheng and Katarina Srebotnik.Meanwhile, in the Men's Doubles quarterfinals, the Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna will today clash with Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan and his partner from Argentina, Carlos Berlocq.
