India's Sania Mirza and her Spanish partner Nuria Llagostera Vives have stormed into the Women's Doubles quarterfinals of the China Open Tennis tournament in Beijing. In the pre-quarterfinals yesterday, the Indo-Spanish pair defeated the Swiss-Spanish combination of Timea Bacsinszky and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez, 4-6, 6-3, 11-9. In the quarterfinals today, Sania and Vives will take on the German-Czech pair of Julia Goerges and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.Meanwhile, Serbia's Novak Djokovic, Austria's Jergen Melzer, Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska and Marion Bartoli of France have advanced into their respective Singles quarterfinals.
