In Badminton,Saina Nehwal today made a shock first round exit from the China Open in Fuzhou. Saina, who was seeded fourth in the tournament, lost to Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand, 16-21, 21-19, 14-21.Saina had made a return three months after injuring her knee during the Rio Olympics which was followed by a surgery and a long rehabilitation programme.Rio Games Silver medalist and seventh seed PV Sindhu, however, advanced to the pre-quarterfinals after beating Chia Hsin Lee of Chinese Taipei, 21-12, 21-16.In the Men's Singles, HS Prannoy and Ajay Jayaram also made it to the second round.
