In Badminton, Rio Olympics Silver medalist PV Sindhu will play in the semi-finals of China Open Superseries Premier tournament in Fuzhou today. Sindhu, seeded seventh in the tournament, will take on sixth placed Korean Ji Hyun Sung.Both players have met 8 times in the past, with Sindhu winning 5 of those games. Besides bagging a Silver in Rio, Sindhu has just one title to her name this season – Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold which she won in January. Sindhu is the lone Indian to have made the semi-finals of the China Open. Fourth seed Saina Nehwal had crashed out in the opening round.
