In the China Open Super Series badminton, second-ranked PV Sindhu entered the quarter-final today beating Yue Han of China 21-15, 21-13. She is the lone Indian player in the fray as ace shuttlers Saina Nehwal and HS Prannoy crashed out in the second round of the women's and men's singles respectively in Fuzhou today. It was a disappointment for both Saina and Prannoy, especially after the two shuttlers had won the women's and men's singles titles respectively at the recently-concluded National badminton championships.
