Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will begin Indian challenge in the men's doubles against the fifth-seeded Chines pair of Liu Cheng and Zhang Nan. Satwik will also be seen in action in the mixed doubles with his partner Ashwini Ponnappa. They face Danish duo, Mathias Christiansen and Christinna Pedersen, in the first round of the main draw. In another men's doubles match, Indian pair of B. Sumeeth Reddy and Manu Attri will play against Indonesian pair of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo.In women's doubles, India duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and N. Sikki Reddy will face Baek Ha-na and Chae Yoo-Jung of South Korea. Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu will also be seen in action today. In women's singles, National Champion Saina will be playing against Beiwen Zhang of US while P V Sindhu will fight against Sayaka Sato of Japan.In Men's singles, newly-crowned national champion H S Prannoy will take on Lee Dong-Keun of South Korea while Sourabh Verma will play against Brice Leverdez of France.
