Srikanth will begin there campaign at the China Open Superseries Badminton Tournament in Fuzhou today.In the women's singles event first round, currently ranked world number two Saina will take on Chinese Sun Yu and her compatriot PV Sindhu will be playing Russian Ksenia Polikarpova.In the men's singles first round, fifth seeded K. Srikanth will be up against unseeded Hu Yun of Hong Kong. While, Ajay Jayaram has to face world number one Chen Long, H S Prannoy will be meeting a qualifier Guo Kai.Indian top women's pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponappa will also slug it out in the first round against Japenese duo of Naoko Fukuman and Kurumi Yonao today.Yesterday, the qualifiers were played to fill the remaining slot of 32 entries of events, however, all Indian were given place in main draw.
