China oil drilling platform tilt: 4 workers rescued, 2 still missing

In China, thirty four workers have been rescued and two are still missing after strong wind brought by typhoon Malou tilted an oil drilling platform in Bohai Bay. According to a spokesman of the Shengli Oilfield, the drilling platform leaned over 45 degrees when Typhoon Malou struck the bay last evening. He said four people fell into the sea while 32 were trapped on the platform. He said that 34 people, including the two who fell into the sea, had been saved and rescuers were still searching for the other two. In a statement, the company said the the valve on the oil rig has been closed and there is no risk of an oil spill.
