China and Germany today signed ten agreements on cooperation ranging from green energy, culture, to the establishment of joint venture on truck and lorries production. <br/><br/>The signing ceremony in Beijing was witnessed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Premier Wen held two-hours of talks with Merkel before attending the signing ceremony. <br/><br/>Wen described Merkel's current China trip as of historical significance to build bilateral comprehensive cooperative partnership. Later, Chinese President Hu Jintao met with visiting the German Chancellor. <br/><br/>Hu said Angela Merkel's China visit has boosted the bilateral relationship. Merkel said she was delighted to visit Beijing after the two countries moved closer when tackling the international financial crisis last year.
