Chinese Scientific Research Centre has built the fastest super computer. It replaces United States as the maker of swiftest machine. The computer known as tianhe-1A has 1.4 times more horse power than the current super computer. According to New York Times, this super computer is housed in China in the northern port city of Tianjin and is capable of sustained computing of 2507 trillion calculations per second. Chinese official said that the computer is under the supervision of ministries of national defence and education.
