In China, at least six persons were killed and three others reported missing after torrential rains lashed southern parts of the country. <br/><br/>Officials said, four persons died in Hubei province, and two others are missing while in Chongqing Municipality, two people died and one remains missing.<br/>'<br/>Heavy rains, coupled with windstorms, caused floods and landslides in several cities in Hubei. <br/><br/>According to the provincial civil affairs department, a total of 171 houses have collapsed, and about 649 people have been evacuated in Hubei. The municipal flood control and disaster relief headquarters said, over 1,300 people have been relocated in Chongqing.
