Both the sides are working to implement the 5-point consensus after the Moscow agreement between both the foreign ministers.
''
''Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh had said, India wanted to peacefully resolve the border standoff with China and would like the Chinese side to work with India.
''
''He stated that there is no commonly delineated Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the border areas between India and China and there is no common perception of the entire LAC.
''
''That's the reason why India and China have many agreements and well-defined protocols in place for border and troops management and to avoid any escalation at the border.
''
''Two sides in a meeting on June 6, 2020 agreed on a process of disengagement that involved reciprocal actions. Both sides also agreed to respect and abide by the LAC and not undertake any activity to alter the status quo.
''
''However, in violation of this the Chinese side created a violent face off on June 15th at Galwan.
''
''China has not yet responded to India's demand of restoring the status quo ante of April 2020 when reports first came in of movement of Chinese troops and armament in Eastern Ladakh.
