Chilly weather returned to the national capital and dense fog put the life out of gear on Thursday morning. The schedules of 56 flights and 80 trains were affected due to dense fog. The minimum temperature recorded was 7.2 degree celsius, one degree below normal. Met office said, foggy conditions are likely to continue in New Delhi in next four days. The minimum visibility at the Delhi Airport came down to 150 meters leading to the cancellation of an international flight. One domestic and six international flights were diverted to other cities. Our correspondent reports that the road traffic in the Metro was badly hit this morning due to poor visibility. Road Traffice moved at a snails pace with headlights and hazard lights on even after 10 a.m.
