The chilling cold wave condition prevails in Uttar Pradesh despite sunshine for past two days. The road, rail and air traffic continues to be badly hampered due to dense fog during evening and morning hours. The capital Lucknow recorded lowest minimum temperature of 0.8 degrees on Wednesday. The temperature hovered between 5 to 10 degrees this morning in various districts. At least 50 people have succumbed to intense cold wave during past four days.
