In Chile, wildfires prompted by heat and dry weather have left 10 people dead and forced thousands to evacuate in the northern part of the country. Authorities said, flames from one of Chile's worst wildfires completely consumed the town of Santa Olga.<br/><br/>The flames engulfed about 1,000 homes in the town south of the Chilean capital. According to reports, the fires broke out at about 100 places and have burned 270,000 hectares areas of the country. <br/><br/>The Chilean Government has declared a state of emergency, but dry and strong winds hamper the effort to put out the fires. Thousands of people have been evacuated to shelters. International help has been arriving in Chile to help the country fight the wildfire. <br/><br/>United States and Russia have deployed their Super Tanker aircrafts capable of carrying tons of water to douse the fires.
