Children's films are not getting due importance in the country: Mukesh Khanna

Children's Film Society of India, CFSI, Chairman and eminent actor Mukesh Khanna today said the children's films are not getting due importance in the country. He was addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, a day ahead of the 19th International Children's Film Festival of India. Stating that CFSI has lot of potential to make good children's films, he said they should be brought more close to children across country throughout the year. Responding to question over intolerance, he said the opposition parties are criticising for the sake of criticism.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, CEO of the CFSI, Dr Shravan Kumar said for the first time the festival films will be screened at all district headquarters across Telangana state. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathode will be inaugurating the 19th edition of the ICFFI that will be thrown open by an in-house film of the CFSI 'Happy Mothers' Day'
