Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal has said that children up to eighteen years of age should be included in Right to Education Act to benefit all the deserving candidates. Speaking at a function in New Delhi today he added that Government will implement the 'Neighbour School' scheme to set up more schools in the country. The Minister said that these schools will be equipped with basic infrastructure to impart education to eighty lakh non school children in the country. He also said that government is employing more educated teachers to uplift the education standards in the country. Mr. Sibal also noted that government has launched 'Awaaz Do' a digital awareness programme with UNICEF to attract the non school going urban children.
