'Child Care Leave' in Haryana

Haryana Government has decided to allow child care leave to women government employees to take care of their children, whether for rearing or to look after their needs like examination, sickness etc. Disclosing this today, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda said that CCL might be granted for a maximum of period of two years during the entire service for two eldest children below the age of 18 years. CCL would not be debited against the leave account but would be admissible only when the concerned women government employee has no earned leave to her credit. Chief Minister said that leave salary would be admissible during the period of CCL up to 730 days.
