Chief suspect in Philippines massacre pleaded not guilty

The chief suspect in the massacre of fifty-seven people in the southern Philippines, Andal Ampatuan Junior, has pleaded not guilty. Andal Ampatuan, a member from a powerful clan denies the multiple charges of murder of a rival political family and journalists. They were on their way to register a rival candidacy for local elections.
