In Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party Prof. Bhim Singh has urged President Ramnath Kovind for his immediate intervention to ensure that rule of law returns back in Jammu and Kashmir.<br />''<br />''In a statement issued in Jammu last evening, Prof. Singh said that since the Lieutenant Governor has no executive power to deal with the legal or political matters as such President of India should intervene to ensure normalcy returns in the Union Territory.<br />''<br />''Prof. Bhim Singh also urged the President to hold an urgent meeting of National Integration Council along with the representatives of all state-recognized political parties including the Hurriyat Conference. He said that the President should not delay this process because the people in Jammu and Kashmir are in a highly deplorable situation which needs to be cured. He also sought immediate release of all the political leaders detained on or after 5th of August this year. <br />
