Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne, embarks on a four day defence cooperation visit to Bangladesh on Sunday. An official release said, during his visit to reinforce defence ties, the Air Chief would call on the President of Bangladesh Zillur Rahman and the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed. He will also meet, the three service chiefs of Bangladesh.
During his visit Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne will hold discussions on a wide range of bilateral issues on the ongoing defence cooperation between the two countries and outline further areas of defence co-operation as a part of broader military engagements. The Air Chief, besides visiting the Army, Air and Naval Headquarters, would also visit the Military Institute of Science and Technology in Dhaka.
