Chief electoral officer releases final electoral roll of special summary revision of photo electoral roll

In Tamilnadu, the Chief electoral officer Satya Brata Sahoo today released the final electoral roll of special summary revision of the photo electoral roll.<br />”<br />” Speaking to the media at at the State Secretariat at Fort St.George today, he said that the total electorate in the State was six crore, 18 lakh, and ninety thousand 348.&nbsp; He said that more than 13 lakh applications were received from the voters for inclusion in the voters list.<br />”<br />”Mr. Sahoo said that as per the integrated final electoral roll, the Assembly Constituency with the highest number of electors is Shozhinganallur Assembly Constituency in Chengalpattu district with six lakh sixty thousand and 419 electors. The CEO said that the revision was done from 27th October to 9th December last year.&nbsp; He also said that more than six lakh applications were received for the deletion of names from electoral rolls including deaths, change of places, and duplicate entries. The lowest number of electors are in Kilvelur Assembly Constituency in Nagapattinam district with one lakh, 72 thousand 140 electors. The Chief electoral officer appealed to the voters to check their names in the list and if any changes are required it can be done through the forms available for the particular purpose in the Voter helpline app or&nbsp;<a href="http://www.voters.eci.gov.in/" target="_blank" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.voters.eci.gov.in&source=gmail&ust=1705996271092000&usg=AOvVaw2V83Ya52A43iJi-RS8bbBN">www.voters.eci.gov.in</a>&nbsp;The electoral rolls were also released simultaneously in all the districts of the State.<br />
