Chidambarm asks Maoists, NE insurgents to suspend violence before talks

Home minister P Chidambarm has urged the Maoists and north east insurgents to suspend violence before talks. He made it clear that government will not bend before violence.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, he asserted that maoist leader Kishenji was killed in an encounter.

Chidambarm expressed hope that parties in Andhara Pradesh will decide on Telangana issue before December end .This, he said, will enable the centre to call a meeting.
