Union Home Minister P Chidambaram is visiting Naxal-affected Gadchiroli district in eastern Maharashtra today. Official sources said, after a brief visit to the district to review the law and order situation, Mr Chidambaram will return to Mumbai in the evening. Ahead of the visit, Naxals set afire a gram panchayat building in Dhanora tehsil of the district. Police said, no one was injured. The Maoists also blocked the Gadchiroli-Raipur Highway by felling a couple of trees near Koolbhatti area. The traffic was disrupted for over a couple of hours.
