Ahead of the third phase of the Jharkhand Assembly polls, Home Minister P Chidambaram today asked voters to come forward and exercise their franchise without fear. In a statement at New Delhi, Chidambaram said the administration in Jharkhand and especially the security forces are geared to ensure that polling takes place in a free, fair and peaceful manner.<br/><br/>The third phase of elections in Jharkhand to 11 Assembly Constituencies will take place tomorrow.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Polling parties have started reaching their polling booths as they have been directed to reach there before evening. All together 239 candidates including 16 female candidates are in the fray for the third phase of polling in the state. The Election Commission has appointed 05 observers and 335 micro observers to ensure free and fair polls, besides engaging 15 thousand polling staffs. Joint Chief Electoral officer of Jharkhand A. K. Sinha told AIR that elaborate arrangements have been made for smooth polling.<br/> <br/>AIR Ranchi correspondent reports that over 25 lakhs 41 thousand voters will cast their votes.<br/>
