Home Minister P Chidambaram on Thursday described the word Operation Green Hunt as a figment of imagination and said the government had never used words like enemy and war against Maoists. Briefly intervening in a debate on Dantewada incident in the Lok Sabha, he said, there is no Operation Green Hunt. He wondered why media makes this myth and lie that there is something Operation Green Hunt. <br/>Chidambaram said this in response to a query by a BJP member who wanted to know whether the government had launched an Operation Green Hunt against Maoists. The Minister further said that Green Hunt was the name given by a Chhattisgarh police officer to an operation against some Maoists.
