Union Home Minister P Chidambaram began his two-day visit to Jammu region on Thursday with a closed- door meeting with top state Congress leadership. A delegation of about 40-50 Congress leaders, including ministers, Legislators and senior office bearers met Mr. Chidambaram. During the meeting Mr. Chidambaram is understood to have discussed with the reports submitted by interlocutors besides reviewing security situation in the State. Late in the evening, Mr. P. Chidambaram held a meeting with State Governor, Mr. N.N. Vohra at Raj Bhawan. The Home Minister is, likely to fly to Kishtwar on Friday where he will review the security situation of five districts of Jammu region at a high level meeting.
