Home Minister P Chidambaram has invited Chief Ministers of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal for talks before launch of inter state operations against the Naxals. The Home Minsiter has written a letter to them in this connection. In the letter the Home Minister wanted assurance from the States that they are in agreement on operations against the Naxals. In a letter to Bihar Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar while expressing deep sense of shock and grief the Home Minister sought his government's cooperation on the Centre's initiative to tackle the Naxal menace.
