India says, it is positive to the idea of further liberalising the visa regime with Pakistan. Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, the Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram said that a Joint Working Group is being set up for the purpose. Replying to questions Mr. Chidambaram said, modalities and procedures will have to be worked out for setting up a Joint Commission to visit Pakistan in connection with Mumbai terror attack case probe. He dismissed apprehensions that the team going to Pakistan to gather information and evidence for the 26/11 case will have limited legal jurisdiction. Home Minister said Pakistan has agreed in principle to receive an Indian team to gather information and evidence in that country in connection with the 2008 Mumbai attack case. Describing the recently held Home Secretary-level talks as a positive development, he said, it is one of the many steps to be taken towards resolution of disputes between the two countries.On Samjhauta Express Blast case investigations, Mr. Chidambaram said the probe is continuing. He said, all the cases of right wing terror are being handed over to National Investigation Agency for probe. However, Sunil Joshi's case is a complicated one. He added that it is just a matter of time before the investigating agency takes up the probe of all the casesIn reply to a question on cash-for-vote scam, the Home Minister said that investigations are on and Delhi Police is calling more people for questioning. On talks with NSCN (IM), he said they are progressing well on mutual trust and confidence. Mr. Chidamabaram said, the group has denied allegations of procuring arms from any where. He, however, added that a close watch is being maintained on their activities.Giving the report card of his Ministry for the month of March, he said the interlocuters holding discussions with different stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir will submit its report soon and it will be deliberated only after the present round of assembly elections is over. Mr. Chidambaram gave the details of the projects undertaken along the border for its better management besides strengthening coastal security.
