Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram today reviewed security arrangements for pilgrims visiting Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine in Jammu and Kashmir. He reached Jammu on a day long visit to the state this morning and paid obeisance at Mata Vaishnodevi shrine. He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand and other senior officers.

The Union Home Minister is now reviewing the security in the state at a high level meeting at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's residence. He will later meet the Governor N.N. Vohra.
