Law Minister Salman Khurshid on Monday said that Home Minister P Chidambaram will not resign on the back of the controversy over Finance Ministry's note on the 2G issue.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a funtion in New Delhi, Mr. Khurshid ruled out reports of any rift within the government on the issue. He described the Home Minister as a pillar of strength for the government. He added that UPA is a very lively government and any question regarding a rift does not arise.
