In a reshuffle of portfolios in the Union Cabinet, Home Minister P Chidambaram has been again given the charge of Finance Ministry. A Rashtrapati Bhavan communique said that Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde will be the new Home Minister .Minister for Corporate Affairs M Veerappa Moily has been given the additional charge of the Power Ministry. The reshuffle of portfolios has been necessitated by the exit of Pranab Mukherjee, who held the portfolio of Finance Ministry before getting elected as the President.
