The Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram today assured close monitoring by the Central Government to ensure guaranteed results in the implementation of PM’s Rehabilitation Package for Kashmiri Migrants. The Home was addressing a gathering of Kashmiri Pandit Migrants after inspecting pace of work on the Jagti Township being developed for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit migrant families living in various camps in Jammu. <br/>The Union Minister also held a meeting with the 32 member Apex Advisory Committee constituted by the J&K Government to make suggestions for welfare of the migrants and also to cooperate in the implementation of PM’s Rehabilitation Package for the displaced community. <br/>Showing great concern over the difficulties being faced by the displaced community since the migration, Mr. Chidambaram said that his endeavour would be on showing results in the entire exercise including their return to Valley, protection and retrieval of their property and job recruitment as provided under the special package. <br/>He said that he has noted down every point raised by the members of the Apex Committee which would be brought to the notice of Prime Minister and UPA Chairperson who are highly concerned about the effective implementation of the rehabilitation package for the migrants. <br/>Meanwhile, J&K national Panthers Party has expressed resentment over the alleged discrimination towards Migrants of Talwara and other areas of Jammu division by the Central Government. The Party alleged that Union Government provided relief package to Kashmiri Migrants but has ignored Jammu Migrants. <br/>
