Union Home Minister P Chidambaram today felicitated sportspersons employed with various police forces who won medals during the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. The felicitation function was organised by All India Police Sports Control Board in New Delhi. A total of 29 medals were won by these sportspersons in these tournaments.The winner of the prestigious Arjuna Award for 2010, Haryana Police sportspersons Sandeep Singh, Hockey player and Inspector Dinesh Kumar, boxer, were also felicitated. Chidambaram honoured the players with cheques of reward money and conratulated the sporstpersons for their performance.
