Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram said that it is the duty of all banks to disburse loans to beneficiaries. Speaking at the opening of Bank of India branch at Madagupatti in Sivaganga Tamil Nadu today he said people should make utilise of bank loans for development. He urged women to come up in society through high education. The Minister disbursed 1 crore 80 lakh rupees as bank loans to 108 beneficiaries.
