The Union Home Minister Mr. P Chidambaram today contended that he was not present when the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind adopted a resolution about vandemataram at its 30th general session in Deoband yesterday. <br/>In a statement the Home Minister said that he was present in the confrenece between 10 am and 12 noon and no such resolution was passed during that period. <br/>
