Describing the so called cease fire offer by the CPI Maoists on 22nd of last month as bizarre , the Home Minister today said just three hours after the offer, the Maoists attacked a joint patrol party of the West Bengal police and in the week since then there have been 18 incidents of violence in which 11 lives were lost. <br/><br/>Mr Chidambaram media persons that he has not received any response so far to his statement following the offer. <br/><br/>The Home Minister had asked the maoists to come out with a simple unconditional statement that they will abjured violence and the government will be prepared for talks.<br/>
